Beginning on April 13, 2026, Bay Roberts Primary will be implementing a new lunch program. Harbour Breeze will continue to be the food service provider; however, there are significant changes to how the lunch program will operate.
Key Changes:
● Weekly Ordering: Lunches must now be ordered in advance for each week by clicking Bay Roberts Primary Lunch Ordering
It is a three-step process - open the link, select the correct week, and complete meal selections. Orders may be placed for specific days or for the entire week. Day-to-day ordering is no longer an option. Orders are due on Wednesday of each week for the following week.
● Meal Selection: Select meals from the two options offered each day. Each meal includes a fruit or vegetable and milk. No other substitutions or choices are available.
● Payment: A suggested price is provided, but the program operates on a “pay what you can” basis. Orders are placed strictly online using the Harbour Breeze app. Written orders are no longer permitted. Payment is confidential.
● Availability: Only pre-ordered meals will be served. If a student forgets their lunch or does not like what is packed from home, parents will be called to bring in a lunch as cafeteria meals will not be available.
This is a pilot project that will remain in effect for the remainder of the school year.
